Dua Lipa has shared a glimpse inside her lavish Italian wedding to English actor Callum Turner, breaking her post-nuptials silence with a series of intimate, high-fashion photos from the couple’s big day.
The Levitating singer, 30, and Turner, 36, exchanged vows on June 6 during a star-studded party at the18th-century Villa Valguarnera estate in Bagheria, Sicily.
The week before, Lipa and Turner legally tied the knot in a quiet civil ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London.
In fresh photos from their three-day Sicilian celebration, reported to cost £1.5 million ($3.5m), Lipa shared a close-up look at how she dressed for the main ceremony in Palermo.
The pop star wore a custom Chanel haute couture gown adorned with thousands of silver and white beads.
Designed by Matthieu Blazy, the low-back halter dress featured a train beset with thousands of feathers, matching the feathered headpiece fixed to Lipa’s embroidered cathedral veil.
Lipa’s bridal dress is believed to be the first designed by Blazy for a friend of the house, Vogue reported.
Blazy currently serves as Chanel’s creative director, a position he has held since December 2024 after three years in the same role at Bottega Veneta.
Intricate details in Lipa’s dress have also been showcased by Chanel in a dedicated social media post, where the fashion house explained how it moved from an idea into reality.
“The result of the close relationship between Dua Lipa and Chanel, and brought to life thanks to an exceptional savoir-faire, Dua Lipa’s Haute Couture wedding dress has been handcrafted in the ateliers at 31 Rue Cambon.
“For this unique design, Maisons d’art Atelier Montex, Lemarie, and Lesage also contributed to the making of the dress through the creation of intricate embellishments.
“To complete the look, white satin pumps were custom-made by Massaro.”
The numbers behind the dress were as much a part of the reveal as the photos. According to Vogue, Atelier Montex hand-embroidered 480,000 beads, Lesage created trompe l’oeil jewels that required 1,155 hours of needlework, and Lemarie underlined the two-metre train with 25,000 feathers.
The high-fashion brand finished by congratulating Lipa, saying it was “honoured to have dressed her for this very special day”.

Locals were reportedly cut off from accessing roads and two town squares in Palermo’s historic centre and made to sign non-disclosure agreements, while a no-drone fly zone was enforced during the festivities.
In response, residents began erecting posters with declarations such as “Palermo is not for rent” and “Our square is not your living room”.
“Public spaces belong to everyone. We reclaim the right to live them, free from private profit,” another read.
With efforts to take down the posters hindered by angry locals, the newlyweds reportedly tried to quell residents’ concerns by financially compensating apartment dwellers living nearby.
“It’s all very, very off limits,” one source told the Sun.
“It’s top secret. The security is private but the local police are involved with the organisation of the event.”
