His mother, Patricia Finelli, told the Post: “He was the greatest kid in the whole wide world. He’d give you the shirt off his back. He has two children, a beautiful wife, and he took care of me like I was a piece of gold.”
Goose, the band performing when the incident happened, is based in Connecticut and was playing the second of a two-show run at the venue as part of their summer tour.
Despite continuing its set after Kueker’s fall, the band later released a statement saying: “We are deeply saddened and heartbroken to learn of the tragic event that occurred at tonight’s show.
“We extend our deepest sympathies to everyone affected. Thank you to the emergency personnel and venue staff who stepped in with care and support.”
In 2021, at Dead & Company’s Citi Field concert in Queens, a man in his 40s died after he fell from an upper-tier balcony to the concrete below during the show’s intermission.
In August last year, an Oasis fan fell to his death at Wembley Stadium from one of the upper tiers in the 90,000-capacity stadium, soon after the end of the band’s gig.
